This month’s Connects Meeting will feature Coming Out Stories shared by those who feel comfortable doing so.
Led by a seasoned LGBTQIA+ board member, this respectful and affirming space honors the lives and experiences of all LGBTQIA+ people. Coming out can be one of the most difficult and deeply personal aspects of being LGBTQIA+, often involving the possibility of rejection, misunderstanding, or loss.
This month, we celebrate those who have chosen to live openly and authentically, while also honoring every person’s individual journey, timing, privacy, and safety. Whether you are out, questioning, selectively out, or not ready to share, you are welcome here.

PFLAG has offered me a space to both receive and offer support to other people who care for and about loved ones who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community. It also helps me to know that PFLAG Waukesha is making a difference in creating a more welcoming and inclusive community.

Survey for the Waukesha LGBTQIA+ Community (Including Families & Allies)
PFLAG Waukesha is conducting a public survey to assess perceptions of LGBTQIA+ issues in Waukesha and to identify potential steps for improvement. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts.
Survey opens on May 1, 2026 and ends Dec 31, 2026.
Results will be published in spring of 2027.
